There are clichés that are simply true: Buenos Aires is the world capital of football with seven first league clubs. Tango is also danced. Unfortunately, the city is also known for its steaks and not exactly for its vegan food culture. So far.

Vegan #buenosaires is a vibrant, exciting and delicious scene that’s growing every week. There are far less #vegan processed products available in #argentina so vegan restaurants have to make everything from scratch. Not processed = healthy & tasty! In this guide we collected the best vegan restaurants in Buenos Aires for you.

The focus of the restaurant Bio Solo Orgánico is #organicfood, so it has loads vegan options, but also has veggie ones. The menu has quite a big list of options, which include entrees, mains, raw dishes and delicious desserts. They do “Flan de coco with dulce sin leche” which is basically a veganized version of “Flan con dulce de leche” one of the most typical Argentinean desserts.

Coco Marie Cafe is hidden in a courtyard at the back of a bathing suit boutique store. All things cute and casual, there is ivy climbing the walls and catchy music streaming throughout.

Loving Hut does vegan versions of Argentine classics as well as burgers, nuggets, hot dogs etc. They also do incredible vegan milkshakes and have an impressive display of cakes in the window.

El Obrero is located right near the famous La Boca football stadium, in a somewhat rough around the edges part of town by night (hop a taxi here, and the staff will call you a car again on the way out). This is home to both locals and tourists alike, which is always a sign of true culinary greatness.

One of the oldest vegan and vegetarian restaurants in Buenos Aires is Krishna Veggie. This is a veggie restaurant also located in Plaza Armenia which revolves around the Hindu god Krishna. The result is simple, original and balanced dishes some of them Indian style, some of them not, depending on your choice.
