Public transportation, including buses and taxis, is also available for those who prefer not to drive, and guided tours provide a comfortable way to see some out-of-way sights.
- How Long to Visit: A week is ideal for getting a taste of Tenerife's diversity.
- When to Visit: Tenerife enjoys pleasant weather throughout the year. The best time to visit is April to June and September to November when temperatures are mild and tourist crowds are smaller.
- Similar Destinations: For similar experiences, consider visiting Madeira, Portugal, for its lush landscapes, or Maui, Hawaii, for its volcanic scenery and beaches. Of course, the other Canary Islands are also great options if you've enjoyed Tenerife.
