Alternatively, you can take the regular ferry from Bluefields, which is cheaper but only runs twice a week. A short and scenic boat ride from Big Corn Island will take you to Little Corn Island.
• Getting Around: On Big Corn Island, taxis and bicycles are the primary means of transportation, making it easy to get around. Little Corn Island invites you to walk, and its size allows you to explore every nook and cranny on foot, free from the noise of cars.
• Where to Stay: Accommodations on the Corn Islands range from eco-friendly lodges to comfortable beachfront bungalows. Large 5-star resorts are not available.
• How Long to Visit: We recommend a minimum of four days to fully experience the beauty and laid-back lifestyle of the Corn Islands.
• When to Visit: The best time to visit the Corn Islands is during the dry season from December to April, when the weather is best for beach activities and exploration. You'll avoid the heavier rains and enjoy sunny days during this time.
• Similar Destinations: If the Corn Islands enchanted you and you're looking for similar experiences elsewhere, Panama's San Blas Islands offer an equally authentic and tranquil Caribbean retreat. Beaches:

Big Corn Island is lined with exquisite beaches. Silver Sand Beach is known for its powdery white sand and calm waters, perfect for swimming and sunbathing. Arenas Beach has a lively atmosphere with access to local restaurants and water sports, while Pic-Nic Beach offers a more secluded setting, ideal for a quiet day in the sun.

Little Corn Island:

Little Corn Island's charm lies in its natural beauty, relaxed atmosphere and lack of motor vehicles, making it the more popular of the two islands.

Beaches:

Days spent on Little Corn Island are well spent on its many beaches. Otto Beach is a favorite for its stunning coastline and crystal-clear waters, making it ideal for sunbathing and snorkeling. The island's coastlines invite endless hours of sunbathing, swimming, and simply enjoying the serene ocean views.

Explore on Foot:

The absence of cars makes Little Corn Island a pedestrian's dream.
