On your second day, take a short drive (about 1 hour) to Marstrand, a car-free island celebrated for its sailing culture and historic charm. Begin with a visit to Carlstens Fortress, perched atop the island, offering stunning panoramic views of the sea and surrounding landscapes.

Spend the afternoon wandering through Marstrand’s quaint streets, lined with wooden houses, or embark on a coastal hike. Relax by the water and enjoy freshly prepared seafood at a local restaurant. Spend the night in a boutique hotel or guesthouse on the island for a peaceful stay.

In the afternoon, explore the surrounding archipelago by boat or take a refreshing dip in the crystal-clear waters. Cross the bridge to Kungshamn, another charming coastal village, for more exploration.
