Newfoundland in Canada is an extraordinary travel destination and far from mass tourism. It is particularly known for breathtaking nature and beautiful hikes and should be on the bucket list of outdoor enthusiasts.

The travel blogger Yvonne has published her round trip to Newfoundland on her blog, which we refer to here. She also used Lambus for this elaborate travel planning and reports on her blog about her 2.5-week trip.

During this trip, Yvonne drove 3,000 km in 19 days. She says that Newfoundland is a really great destination and that she could have easily stayed twice as long. In her blog, you can also find detailed reports about individual hikes and things to do locally.

If you import this trip, the routes and further details of the journey will be displayed in the app. You can then use this template to make your own customizations and plan your own trip to Newfoundland.

You can read a very detailed report and many tips about this trip (including its meticulous planning) in the blog. Yvonne shares information about the journey, the rental car, the accommodation, hikes and much more. She particularly recommends looking into the topic of rental cars in good time, as these are only available in limited numbers on the island and are therefore quite expensive. Her descriptions of the hiking routes are also as detailed as they are impressive.

Yvonne's conclusion is that she was impressed by the nature, the wildlife, the beautiful accommodations and all the lighthouses.
