Brandenburg Gate - An absolute #classic and definitely a compulsory motif on your journey through the three and a half million metropolis. As Berlin's landmark and German national #symbol, which is besieged by tourists and photographers almost 24/7, it is not so easy to get a nice #snapshot without people or other disturbing effects. It is best to visit the Triumph Gate in the evening, because there are fewer visitors and the Brandenburg Gate is beautifully #illuminated all around.

On the grounds of the #Gendarmenmarkt in the Berlin Mitte district, you will find Karl Friedrich Schinkel's #Schauspielhaus, now used as a #concert hall, and the German and French Cathedrals - three wonderful and beautiful motifs both by day and by night that will certainly look great in your Instagram profile. 

Berlin Cathedral - Especially if you are on your way from Brandenburg Gate to #Alexanderplatz, a detour to Berlin Cathedral is a must. The Protestant #church and burial place in the style of the #Neo-Renaissance is located at the Lustgarten on the Museum Island and thus directly on the #Spree, which guarantees a great photo motif as well as the impressive #architecture, the four towers and the almost 100-metre high dome of the cathedral.
